I remember there was a article how to finish sleeves with a kind of tulip model. I think the sleeve was cut in two pieces and then sewn together wit round hems. I hope I am clear. Does anyone know in which Threads this article was published?
Thanks.

I can't give you the information on the Threads article, but Roberta Carr's book, Couture: the Art of Fine Sewing (it's a Palmer and Pletch book) has detailed information on drafting a tulip sleeve starting from a simple set-in sleeve pattern on pages 151-152.

Hi Hester, I can`t believe you haven`t had a zillion repies to your question!! The tulip sleeve pattern was just in last month`s magazine on page 73 in theReaders questions department. This is the May issue no.130. I hope you still have one handy. I know how it goes when I can remember I read something in a magazine, but just can`t remember which one!!Seems like it happens more often than it used to. Wish I had the arms to wear that tulip sleeve, it is so pretty. Too old and flabby, I need elbow length now!! Hope this helps you. Bonkers
Thank you very much! I will take a look immediately.
Yes! You are right! How stupid of me. In the mean time I designed one myself but now I see I did it all wrong, so I have to change the sleeve. Thanks again.Hester
