Looking for a Blind Hem machine

Raggs | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

I have a small business making both soft furnishings as well as clothes and am looking for a blind hem machine – especially for hemming the side of the lined drapes to save time – can anyone suggest one – I believe that Babylock has one – not sure of the model number – also an idea of the price. Thanks.

I have The Blind Hemmer - the BH 600 by Juki and also sold under other names, I believe. It is just a little thing for the home sewer and not meant as a commercial machine. I think I paid about 400$ for it and have had one l00$ repair. I love mine and use it for alterations all the time. It does not come with a lot of information. I have figured it out by trial and error. And it is impossible to repair myself. I simply can't get to anything without knowing the secrets about how to take it apart. But all in all, I wouldn't want to do without it .

Thanks very much will look into it.  I live in Barbados and would have to have a machine shipped in.  Ana.
