Looking for a New Sewing Machine

Hi,

I’m a new subscriber and found this sight because I’m searching for a new sewing machine.  I have had a Singer in the past but have always had a lot of trouble with it.  I do just basic sewing but would also  like to be able to do a little quilting and embroidery as well.  Two features I know I want are a needle threader and a good button hole maker.  Can you give me some help and suggestions.

    Have you looked at the past advice? You can use the 'Advanced Search' feature and get a lot of info from previous discussions on machines.  Then maybe ask a very specific question about the machine you are considering.

      Thanks for you response and advice.  I will try looking at those messages.  I have been trying to do some research on the internet for the machines that are available in my locality.
