I am looking for something called ‘ghost leaves’ to make a table runner from instructions I received from the people that make RIT dyes. They say I can find these at craft stores and florists, but I have had no luck so far. I have been to local craft and fabric stores and florist, and have e-mailed several places, and noone seems to carry them or know what they are. From the picture I have from Rit, they look like they are made of a thin, filmy fabric such as chiffon, and Rit says they can be immersed in a dye bath and stitched onto the table runner. Has anyone heard of them? If so, do you know where I can find them? Any help you can offer would be appreciated!!!

Dana - Is there an 800 telephone number on the RIT package? You might call (or write) RIT for more information.
*i need a mailorder source for anchor brand pearling cottonany information out [email protected]
*Joylene,You might try http://www.nordicneedle.com. They have an amazing amount of embroidery, hardanger, cross stich supplies, etc. I'm sure you could get an 800 number off their site if you didn't find exactly what you wanted on the internet. I'd be surprised if they DON'T have what you are looking for.
*I am looking for a source for the very small rings and slides used on lingerie straps. I haven't been able to find anything smaller than 1/2''-I am interested in finding 1/4'' size. [email protected]
*Re: the Ghost LeavesHave you tried contacting the Rit people. After all, if they're going to recommend an item like this, they should be able to provide a source for it. And they should know that you're not having an easy time of it. After all, they produce the instruction sheets to promote their products and they should use easily available supplies. Just my 2 cents.
