I am looking for a place to buy recycled Indian sarees, particularly with gold brocade or embroidery on silk. I have seen garments in shops made from this material cut into patches and sewn into new clothing.Urban outfitters is selling jean jackets embellished with saree fabrics on the cuffs and trim for over $150.00. I want to copy one! Any help would be apreciated.

Try eBay-- do a search on "sari". There is at least one regular supplier who auctions off vintage and antique sari (in whole or part). And there are always a few offered. Just watch for a while before bidding. There will always be more offered, so don't get too excited on your first foray!
