I love to collect patterns and get them where ever I can. Recently I bought an “unknown” brand called SEWING STEP-BY-STEP. I didn’t check the contents carefully and when I got home I noticed that there were no construction instructions. On the pattern envelope it calls for Category 4, Cards 5-8, Cardigan Jacket, Category 2, Cards 7-8 Pattern Adjustments, Category 2, Carde 9-10, Fitting a Cardigan Jacket. This is a 1993 pattern. Is anyone familiar with this brand and does anyone know where I might find these instruction cards? Thanks.

Linda, I haven't seen a response to your post, so please forgive me if I'm just duplicating something you've already heard. Sewing Step by Step was a monthly program that included instruction cards purchased a few at a time. The patterns would come out about every other month or so with the card set pertaining to them. All together the set filled 3 or 4 3-ring binders (also part of the purchase), plus 3 boxes of patterns. If all you got were the boxes of patterns, then you are missing all of the construction info as it was contained in the card packets.
