Looking for “Land’s End” quality knits

PeppermintPam | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

I’m tired of making knit dresses and skirts that pill after a short time.  Knit dresses from Land’s End never pill even after years of wear.  Where can I find the same fabric they use?

Thanks,

Colorlady

The key is to get 100% cotton, the pills are from the synthetic fibers.

Thanks for your suggestion.  I've tried 100% cotton knits and cotton/lycra blends, but they both have pilled.  Is there a specific manufacturer or brand that I should look for?

You know, their customer service is so famous, you should probably just call them and ask!

If they sell "t-shirt knit" sheets you could always order a couple and cut them up.
