Looking for Nakajima Sewing Manual!!!!

coolladyblu3 | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

I have recently purchased a Nakajima 280L (serial # 207509) industrial sewing machine. I sew a lot of leather, fake fur, and denim and when a lady friend of mine mentioned that she had this machine for sale, I couldn’t pass it up. I have previously been sewing all of my projects with a bottom of the line Brother machine! It did pretty good, but would make horrible noises for about 1/2 hour after sewing heavy materials. I’ve been all over the internet, and learned that Juki purchased Nakajima a few years back? My lady friend was able to show me the basics of the machine, but she had no instruction manual for it. Would anyone happen to know where I can find such a manual. I’ve been to many websites that advertise instruction manuals for industrial machines, but when I check to see if they have Nakajima, there are mostly limited selections of parts and no manuals. I would appreciate any help or advice you might have to offer! Thanks.

A quick google search for Nakajima 280L manual.

This website has an instruction manual for the 280L.

Thank you so much, Cherrypops! I searched website after website, but used the yahoo search engine instead and never came across the cross reference for Juki with Nakajima. I figured there had to be one somewhere, though. You are very kind. My lady friend who sold me the machine will be excited to know there are instructions available for it as well. Thanks again!
