I’m just starting out in sewing and would like to take a class. Parsons offers a class in basic garment construction but it costs over $400! If you are in NYC, can you recommend any sewing classes that are not quite as expensive?
I know there are videos and online classes, but I learn best with a teacher.

If you are familiar with SAG (American sewing guild)
there is a new branch called the Queens/long island
