Machine embroidery on swimsuirt fabric

I’m looking for tips ont he above: i.e. stabilizers, tensions, etc., differences between cotton/lycra & lycra/spandex I have Singer EU.

I’m an advanced sewer but new to machine embrioidery.

    When embroidering on these materials, try using cutaway backing (stabilizer), and 75/11 BP needle.

    But the real key is to stretch the fabric when hooping. Lycra is normally worn in a stretched state, so to ensure proper appearance of the embroidery, the fabric must be stretched during the sewing process.

    With cotton/lycra, you must stretch it a good deal. With lycra spandex, stretch it even more.
