Machine manual for Montgomery Ward model

Teaf5 | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

I’ve been given a Montgomery Ward UHT 1980 model sewing machine with several built-in decorative stitches, a buttonhole option, and a convertible free arm, but no owner’s manual! Internet searches haven’t turned up any relevant information.

The threading pattern resembles a White or Elna sewing machine I used once; does anyone know whether one of those companies made the Wards brand machines in the 1990s and whether one of those manuals might help me? Or, does anyone have a Wards UHT 1980 machine manual that I could make a copy of?

I’m especially curious to find out how to use the buttonhole option, how to use the numerous specialty feet, and how to get the most of of the machine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi,

I did a search for you and found a site for you to check out.  Go to:

    http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Manuals/ Wards_Signature_Sewing_Machines.htm

They say that they have manuals available for your machine.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! I'll check those website. I knew that, if anyone, someone on this forum might know where to look!
