Does anyone know of any good websites that have pictures and instructions for creating fabric covered boxes?

Not a website, but there is a Georgia Bonesteel quilting episode that shows how to make a box from fabric. I've been lucky enough to catch it twice on TV, but I bet you can order it from PBS or some related website....
I don't know of any websites but there's a book called "Fast, Fun and Easy Fabric Boxes" by Linda Johansen. Maybe that'll help you.
I've used the Linda Johanssan book successfully. The patterns are varied. The styles are contemporary. They are all sewn on the machine. There is another book by a British woman that is very interesting. The boxes have some machine work but they are constructed mostly by hand. The style of the boxes is more medieval, like the caskets and reliquaries found in castles. But there are some good ideas for construction and embellishment. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the feedback - I think I'll get the Johansen book. Do you know the name/author of the other book you mention? That's all I need - off in another direction!
I just got back and checked the book title and author. The title is "Beginners' Guide to Embroidered Boxes" and the author is Janet Edmonds.
I found it at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival but you could probably find it online.
Thanks very much for this info - I'll try Amazon.
