knit to challis
you have to consider the amount of stretch. the challis doesn't stretch b/c its woven. if you use a pattern for a knit fabric your armhole will be too tight, but that depends on the pattern and you wil have to adjust. it is possible to put the pattern on the challis on a bias, but you have to consider the design/grain/sheen. knits weight more as well.
