I miss them, too!
Hi Kay,
I'm still here, been so busy, currently embroidering Zundt rabbits onto felt. Helping my boy make his easter hat for parade, having a few families over to join in the fun.
also organising little ones 6th birthday party. special appearance by a guy who will bring along live insects and teach the littles one about spiders and such.
busy and tired

I know with job and family you are a very busy mom. Just missed you! Glad to hear all is well. Those Zundt rabbits sound wonderful. I've been busy, too, helping DD by watching daycare while she attending business meetings and helping her with samples for some new items in her line. We have to do samples for the factory.......and I'm her sewist for that part!
Happy Stitching!
Kay
Rodezzy: I was thinking about Cherrypops yesterday. Thanks for asking about both of them. I just did a check on advanced search for their names and neither of them are listed.
Do you know how names are entered or deleted from the list? Is it frequency of visits or postings? I hope they are both just busy or on a holiday. I hope they are okay.

not deleted or removed, josefly gave you a good answer on how to find me.
i'll have to make some time to post some pics.
thanks for thinkin of me....
:)
Cherrypops: I have often said that Young Moms could run General Motors with one hand tied behind their backs, because GM would seem simple compared to the complexity of their everyday lives. I am glad all is well and lurking is great. I am so pleased you are enjoying your little ones while they are young, as it is a time that really does fly by.
Know you are valued here, but also respected for the important choices you are making day to day. They are the right ones.
Take care Scrubble4
You know, if you click on "Advanced Search", and down where you can ask for messages "From" a particular person, you type in Cherrypops or Gloriasews, you can find some of their old messages, and direct a new message to them, either on the forum, so they'll be notified of a message for them here, or using the "Reply via E-Mail" option at the bottom of the reply page, you can message them directly. If you click on "From"..."All", to get the menu of names, I suspect those names are only those who have recently posted, so you have to actually type in the name of one who hasn't posted recently.Hope this makes sense.

great response josefly....thanks...i'm just lurking lately.
Josefly: Thanks, and you always make sense. I am still learning about how things work here. I know they are way more things I can do here than I have yet tried. Take care Scrubble4
I'm still here & fine - lurking in the background & keeping up with all your doings & makings, checking out the threads every couple of days, but haven't had anything to add to all the good suggestions in all the threads. Thanks for missing me - I feel so special now :).
I've been busy throwing out stuff, giving stuff away, etc., as I'm moving at the end of next month into something much smaller (& cheaper, as my rent went up $465/mo.! & no more leases, which makes me feel insecure), so I have to really downsize. Quite stressful :(.
Next week is our Creative Sewing Expo here, too, which I will go to on the Friday (& possiby meet MarshaK, who also is a member of our threads), so I'm looking forward to that.

Gloriasew; So good to hear from you. I connect with the stress of downsizing and the increased vulnerability without the lease. These are perilous economic times for many of us. It is great to have a forum like this where we can feel connected with like minded folks. I am so glad that rodezzy put out the post. You are special and it is great that you now feel special. Take care and enjoy the Creative Sewing Expo. Scrubble4
You're so right - we're all friends here, aren't we? I was surprised to be missed - guess I shouldn't have been - you are all such great, supportive people! Thanks for the thoughts!
Gloria
hi, i thought i'd give lurking a go too. been to busy to give quick answers. so much goin on everywhere at the moment.
it is lovely that we are thought of isn't it.
:)
Glad to hear you're fine, too. It IS lovely to be thought about. So you've been busy, too (thought so). Please do show the pics when you can. Guess we're a couple of lurkers after all. :)
Don't work too hard - & enjoy the birthday party, Easter, reading, sewing, embroidery, etc. There's always something to do, eh?
Gloria
The Sewing Expo sounds like the perfect escape from the stressors you are going through. I hope you have a fun time!
Many of us are going through difficult times, hopefully the economy will turn around soon. The rich keep getting richer, while the rest of us struggle to survive!!! Try to keep positive thoughts and do nice little things to pamper yourself. Scented candles, bubble baths, rent a funny movie, walk in the park, look in the mirror and smile every time you go in the bathroom (it's so absurd, it makes you giggle), etc., these little things sure make a difference in my life. Mary
Thanks for the suggestions, Mary. You're right about the rich getting richer - seems to be moreso lately, eh? But then, I saw a cute card today that said, "Money does not bring happiness - it's the stuff you buy with it that does!" How true, eh? :)
Yah, I'm hanging in here, TRYING to be ruthless with the downsizing (it's hard, but I'm getting there). And I'm also doing the little happy things for myself, too. The bubble bath is next. I've also been reading more upbeat stuff, too (when I sit for a coffee) - like "Laughing With My Mouth Full" by Pam Freir (another dedicated foodie) - a very enjoyable book. I'm also trying to pace myself in my activities so the old bod doesn't stiffen up too much. Now for the smiling . . . (this too shall pass).
Thanks for the thoughts, Mary.

Hi Cherrypops and Gloriasews, so glad to hear from you, I was a little worried, but happy now that I hear your voices. Carry on with all of the wonderful things you are doing..Happy Birthday to the little one, and Happy Living to Gloriasews.
I'm fine and back from New York, (Long Island mostly), it was good to get away.
Tell us about your New York weekend - was it just visiting or did you see the sights, shop, etc.? Bet it was a nice break. I'm in the midst of washing items that I'm giving away & packing boxes, but I'll try to check on the threads every day (that, in itself, is a nice break when I have my coffee).
Gloria
Those are WONDERFUL tips to feel better. (Looking in the mirror and smiling at myself DID make me laugh!!!) = D The economy is crazy right now. = P
G'day!
I'm alive and well, thanks for asking :)
I've been reading mostly, so much going on here in the forum....so many new names and wonderful posts.
Been busy here at home, school and sewing.
hope your're well too.
