Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this: my name is Jhenifer and I wanted to get the word about Our Social Fabric, an non-profit group I volunteer with in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Every month, our group collects and recycles excess fabric and notions from manufacturers, the film industry, and more. We hold fill-a-bag sales monthly, inviting people to fill a bag to the brim with fabric and take it home for repurposing into clothes, crafts, quilts, etc.

One bag is $25 and you can get two for $40—plus we sell fabric by the metre as low as $2/metre. All funds go to covering our storage fees and recycling more fabric!

Anyway, it’s low-cost, high-quality fabric, with the benefit of keeping textile waste out of the landfill. I just wanted to put a note out so that Vancouver Threads readers can connect with us!
