   Hey Jackie, so the map was the pattern you wanted?  That's a cool pattern, but I've never had the nerve to tackle it. Right now I'm playing making dolls clothes. They really  go quickly!

   It was great to hear from you again about knitting!  The globe pattern is the one I want...the others listed ....some of them, anyway, look interesting...It seems knitting is beginning to really be a craze.  Have you been exposed to Knitty Gritty on HGTV?  Kind of fun.  I very much agree about knitting projects and not finishing them.  I'm in Florida and during the hurricane threats...and damage, I dug up some old yarn and just knitted what I called fabric!.....about 2 feet by 3 feet...just fabric!  Now I'm trying to get up the nerve or whatever, to zigzag it in to about 10" by 14" or something, line it in some way and make a patch type jacket or something...anyway...I'm thrilled to 'meet' other knitters!   Jackie

   Knitty Gritty is a neat show!  I think it's on DIY network, though.  I haven't come across it on HGTV.  Our cable company didn't have that channel - one of the reasons we switched to satellite!  I watch it while folding laundry - and would rather be knitting or sewing :)

   Oh, that's bad news. Our cable doesn't carry DIY either. I'm bummed.
