Muffler pattern, handbag templates & pat

irj | Posted in Patterns on

I need help locating a variety of “handbag” or “purse” templates to use as a topper for a quilt.  I would also like to find old or vintage handbag patterns to make handbags or purses and a pattern for a “muffler” for the hands.  Any websites, books or resources you offer will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Try doing a search for "purse" or "handbag" at

http://images.google.com -- although these are not templates, you can probably sketch your own from the images brought up.

As to the muff (I think that's what you mean by "muffler") the one

I had as a child was just a multi-layered fabric tube with lots of

insulation as the middle layer, and a long cord or lanyard.

oops... hit "post" too soon. For modern patterns and findings, you

might start with http://www.ghees.com (might be http://www.ghee.com)

      and http://www.lacis.com
