Need to find source for:Knitted sleeve insert to halt cold air invading sleeve of coat.
My mother-in-law is 90. Her new coat, was bought by another daughter-in-law who does not sew and thus does not “get” the time involved to shorten sleeves match thread, find the ribbed winter cuff insert and attach the insert. The new coat, besides having sleeves way too long for a woman 4′ 11″, does not have those nice knitted inserts that I at one time could purchase in many colors and now cannot find at all.
Does anyone know of a source where I can “send away” for a pair on ribbed sleeve inserts? I would like a choice of colors, but I do suppose that is asking for the moon! 
I tend to be a perfectionist with sewing. I see this taking at least 2-3 hours all by hand as we are visiting in two weeks with not available sewing machine (maybe more if I have to blind stitch to close lining if lining is attached all the way around..). Non-sewers certainly have an interesting take on alterations. They watched Cinderella (the Disney movie that made me want to learn to sew) one too many times!

You may be able to make your own with wide elastic inserted into a folded knit fabric.
Knitted cuff insert
I am a beginning sewer and just made a bathrobe. I forgot to insert the knitted cuffs in the sleeves. I really want them. Can anyone tell me how to do that. I am afraid that ripping out the sleeve seam on my thick fleece robe will lead to disaster. Thanks so much.
