I am looking to hire a dressmaker/seamstress in the Southern California area — I am located in Long Beach, but most of my clients are in the LA area — is there anyone out there interested in doing some contract work? Since up until now I have been doing everything myself, I am kind of green to what the going rate is and getting set up on contracts — so if interested, please be patient with me!! I need to hire someone for small amounts at first, but have a my own line/fashion show happening in January and need all that work done — Help!!

Hi. I understand you would prefer to hire someone in close proximity, but in case that proves to be impossible, please keep me in mind. I do contract work for several clients via priority mail. I'm in NY. Thanks, and I do wish you good luck with your search!

*Kimberly Bowman, I live in Murrieta, a. I'm hoping to start a small business of my own down the road. If I can be of some help let me know. I have sewing some all my life. Now that I am a homemaker I am getting my sewing room up to par. Latest sewing machine. I want to learn as much as possible and see what I can create. Creating is my second love. Fabrics and the colors of fabric are all so inspiring. Vivian
