New cover for dress form or sloper

franma | Posted in Fitting on

Hi, I love to sew and have for over thirty years. I am now 59 and need some help in altering patterns to fit rounded shoulders and lowered bust. I live in Virginia Beach?Norfolk Va. area and am looking for someone to help me make a new cover for my dress form or sloper so that I can successfully alter my patterns before cutting out. It would be great to meet up with sewers in my area so that we could help one another with alterations. Is there anybody out there.? I’m not sure how this works but if you answer through my e-mail address please mention sewing in the subject line

Franma,  there is a large chapter of the American Sewing Guild in your area.  They are the largest chapter in Viriginia.  I don't have the contact email in front of me, however, if you go to http://www.asg.org and click on the chapters area, you will find a link to the Hampton Roads Chapter.
