I just found this in my email as well. It looks interesting, but I'm guessing it will feature tips I've already seen in Threads. I'm thinking it might make a good gift for the young people in my life who are just learning to sew.Sherry

      Hello Sherry,

We think the same. Also, I think, it would be a great addition to my Library, they stock a good range of sewing books and this would give the young ones another outlet. A lot of creative younger talent is popping up in my shopping precinct.

I read the write-up on the Taunton Shop page. It would be interesting to know what the videos are. I wonder if they are they different to what is on the sewstylish blog site.

I'll ask Borders Bookstore ( I'm in Sydney Aust.) to stock a few and see what happens -  they do well with Threads Magazine.

Hi Cherrypops,I also wonder about the videos. I've enjoyed looking at those on the Sew Stylish website. It's often good to get a refresher on various techniques.Asking the bookstore to stock them is a great idea. That way you can get a copy plus they are available for others, perhaps for me! My husband, daughter, and I are seriously looking into moving to Sydney sometime in the next year, depending on when our house sells. I was born in Sydney, but have not been back since I was seven. Australia has called to me for most of my life and I'm excited to share it with my family, but nervous about such a big move.Sherry

    Hi CherryPops,

I don't have a collection of Threads magazines like some folks do, so I think this DVD would be a great resource.

Hi Vickie, Yes, it would be a great resource for those in your situation and new sewers, I only have 12months of Threads Magazines, so I would be very interested in reading the Out of Print articles and to catch-up on past issues too, which go beyond what my library stock. It would also make a nice Teaching Tool for sewing groups.  It has its advantages and I hope sales are good for Taunton. CherryPops - australia-

I don't have an extensive collection of Thread mags either and would appreciate the DVD.  I will probably buy it.  Will there be step-by-step instructions for the tips, or are they just talking?
