Hi. I am a new member. My 20 yr. old Pfaff just died, & will be expensive to repair. I can’t afford a new highend machine, but my dealer recommended a babylock decorators choice for a very reasonable price. Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks.

Give it a test run. I bought my first Babylock a few months ago and think it is great. It's no Bernina, but I didn't want to buy another one ($$$$), same for Husqvarna.
Be sure you are comfortable with your dealer no matter which brand you decide on.
There is a review of machines at PatternReview, where you can post questions if you cannot find the information you need.
Best of luck in finding a great machine.
Thank you!
