Hi Everyone,

My name is Cheryl and I have been sewing for a few years now. Nothing too serious , but I have been venturing out a little. I have a Memorycraft 10001. I love it, it is a great machine and does so much more than I know. I’ve had it 3 years.

I do some quilting, machine embroidery and clothing. I have 3 little boys and they really don’t like me to sew for them. I have twin grandaughters due in Feb. so now I have girls to sew for!

I live in Fargo North Dakota, but am from Indianapolis Indiana.

I think I’m going to find this forum very helpful!

Welcome, indygirl.  I have been sewing for over 50 years and have learned more from this forum than any other one place--you will love it.  If the ladies on this forum can't do it, it can't be done.  Don't give  up on the boys (I have two)  when they are teenagers, they will love the high-fashion shirts you can sew for them.  Mygaley

Welcome!  Nice place, Fargo.  I live in a snow belt too, but was in Fargo one beautiful autumn.

Younger boys like PJs, sleep pants and boxers, as well as sheet and pillow trims in their favorite characters or fabric relevant to their interests - space ships, comic characters, race cars, dirt bikes, etc.  They like the special items, but just don't want their friends to know Mommy/Grandma sews for them :))
