I wear my mask to protect you, and, you wear your mask to protect me.

Stay safe my friends

Exactly in this situation when there is no vaccine to end it, wearing a mask is the best precaution. I am using N-95 mask from the first day when I heard about the Covid-19. I also bought N-95 mask for my employees, friends and family members from N95 Mask Company Coupons. N-95 is the best mask for this virus.

Since mid March I have been making washable cotton face masks for family, friends and neighbors. As a quilter, garment maker and fabric artist, I have accumulated a large quantity of scraps, yards of fabrics I bought but haven't found a use for, and clothing stashed for recycling. To date I have made and distributed more than 200 masks.
Since most of the fabric is made up of irregular shapes, I need to cut most pieces individually which is less than efficient. The remaining scraps are then recut into strips and specific shapes for future projects (e.g. string quilts, hexagons). Anything leftover will be used to stuff beds for animals in shelters.

That's wonderful and has the added benefit of not adding to landfill!

Excellent! Fellow quilter here. I use quilt batting as an inner layer in 3-layer masks. They wash beautifully and provide extra protection.

It's a must to wear a mask. Let's protect one another.

YouTube has hundreds (perhaps thousands :)) of videos giving mask patterns. There are some really interesting ideas. My family prefers 3-d masks and there are many great ideas with instruction videos.
