Not Lions, but Tigers and Bears, Oh My!
Just got back from Beverly’s after a trip for muslin for yet another round of pant alterations, and found (and bought) the most delightful book on fleece animals. I have to make a basket for a silent auction for a women’s group I’m in, and this sounds like a wonderful project. Can’t you see some grandmother or other putting bids on a basket of cuddly fleece animals? Besides, it will keep me sewing instead of cussing over the nasty way my pants hang–but THIS time I’m sure I’ve figured it out. (Right!)

Would you consider posting the fleece animal book title & ISBN?
Agreed. Your contribution should spark some active bidding.

The book is Wild and Wonderful Fleece Animals by Linda Carr. ISBN # is 978-1-58923-384-3. I made the centipede and was horrified to find out how much 3" styrofoam balls cost.
Thank you for the pick up. The info will be a huge help when I scout for the book.
>> ... horrified to find out how much 3" styrofoam balls cost. << To be sure. I can identify. Realizing what many of these cost years ago & what they are now is boggling. The different shape of styrofoam I have stashed come to use when I least expect it. Maybe the way to go is the small balls that pop up on clearance counters, or in outlet stores. Of course size becomes a factor.

Thinking like that is why I can barely walk through my sewing room! Of course, most of it gets used eventually, and I am usually sewing when the stores are closed.
