Lucky gift recipients. I bet those are so cuddly and warm.

I've got to agree with Josefly - lucky gift recipients!  They are lovely - & a nice, generous size, so they'll be very cosy & will get lots of use.  Good job!  Be proud of yourself!

Rodezzy, I wish I had your talents!!!  When you are able to get an embroidery machine, you will LOVE it!  Very addictive! tee hee  Thanks for looking and the nice comment.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.  It's so fun to be able to share....especially when it's a gift for someone and I can't show it to them yet!!!!  I'm just a big kid when it comes to gifts, surprises, etc..........no, I think I'm WORSE than lots of kids!!

Honey you have lots and lots of talent.  I'm not worthy!

        1. Crazy K | | #9

Well, I've looked at the photos you've posted.......awesome stuff!  You are VERY worthy.  I just put a piece of fabric in a hoop and sit and babysit my machine!! ha ha  Well, maybe it takes a wee bit more than that but sewing on minkee is harder than the embroidery! :-)

Anyhoooooo, glad you like them.  They were fun.......now I hope the kids like them.  If the adults don't, the kids will!!  Haven't met a kid yet that didn't like to snuggle in that stuff.

You're right, the kids like snuggly stuff, santa and snowmen!

    They are adorable!  Mary

Thanks, Mary.  Aren't gifts fun to make??  I don't know what I did before machine embroidery!!  Well, yes, I made things and bought things......I guess the same as now.  The embroidery makes is fun to personalize and make things so special.

My aunt likes towels that she can hang........well, she'll get two and an extra towel for each.  That way she will always have one clean for use.

How are you doing?  I haven't been following the forum as much of late.........just busy with DGS, sewing for DD and just sewing...........always something to keep me out of trouble and off the streets!! ha ha

      Merry Christmas to you.........

Yes, it is fun to make gifts!  I've not been very active on the forum either in this busy crafty season!  I think I know what my New Year's Resolution will be: start sooner!!!  Happy Hollidays to all!  Mary

Oh Mary............you must think I'm crackers!  I was responding to the new post from today of the towel toppers..........!!  The blankets are for some of our grown children and their families.  I made the blankets and did the embroidery.

The other post is the towel toppers...........sorry........I guess I didn't pay very close attention when responding.

These are adorable and so cuddly.  I should make a couple for my "babies"; i.e. Sophie and Pumpkin.  They would love them.  I always get inspired when you share your completed projects.  Thanks so much for the inspiration.
