Oh Stylin’ Baby!

artzyval | Posted in Photo Gallery on

Hi- I am pretty new to this forum. I am expecting and am due in March, so I made some clothes for the baby. We didn’t find out the gender which makes it tough to design something but this is what i came up with. I am excited to make more I had a tough time working out the kinks in the first go, so I should be able to make them better this time. Check them out!  http://w26.photobucket.com/widgets/dynamicflash.php?featuretype=bucketstamp&featurename=BabyGear&pa=/c146/arkitoothus/

    Hi:

Very cute!  Love that little fish.  Cannot tell whether it's applique or embroidery, but love the colors and the design!

The fish is cut out of the knit with cotton fused behind it and then stitched around for security and decoration. A really easy technique that looks really stunning.

I have to say you did a wonderful job. The details are gorgeous.  Just a word of caution when the baby gets a little older you will want to use shorter stitch length to outline as little fingers will get caught and either pull them out or cause problems for the little fingers.
