One-sided fleece?

Fruzzle | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

I have a couple of ready to wear garments that are made from a type of fleece that is only “fleecy” on the inside, and is smooth on the other.

Does anyone here know what this fabric is called?

Bear in mind I live in UK - but normally this fabric is called cotton/polyester sweatshirting (try SewZanne's Fabrics.com{I think its .com!})or a variation thereof. If this is what I think you are referring to!

Thanks, Jan. They have a product called "sweatshirt fleece" -- which might be what I'm looking for. It's very hard to tell the texture from the photos, though. I might have to take a trip to a store.
