Pants Fitting

I enjoyed KKRowland’s article in Threads 98. In her article she uses a flexible curve that’s 40 inches long to measure crotch curve. I’ve written two e-mails (11/20 and 11/30) to her, but no answer. Does anyone know where I can purchase this curve? The one I have is only 12 inches and doesn’t do the job.

Try an art supply or drafting supply store. I got a 25" one at a college bookstore, in the drafting section.

*I found a 24" flexible curve at Staples Office Supply Store in the Art/Design aisle. It's made by Staedtler (www.staedtler-usa.com). Hope this helps.

*After searching the web for hours last year, I found this source. I called, they were really nice, the stuff came fast, plus they were comparitively cheaper even on the smaller lengths everybody had. The flexable curves are very far down the page, and come up to 40" Pam
