I recently read an article about lining the upper part of a dress or jacket. I cannot locate the article. Has anyone seen it? The writer had discovered this older technique. It consisted of two triangles that were attached at neck and I believe the shoulder and armscye. Because of the triangles it seemed to have some movement to it and would work well with drapey fabrics but gave the upper part some stability and would cover shoulder pads. Can anyone help me locate the article?

The November 2011 issue of Threads had the details on this type of lining. You might be able to order it from Threads?
