I have been using JoAnn’s Pattern Ease for sometime but I am not happy with what I have been getting there lately. The material is not the same and when I draw my pattern on it with a marker the marker spreads and bleeds. Also it seems to tear easily. I have looked on the internet and there seems to be more than one manufacturer that makes a product called Pattern Ease. Any suggestions or feedback on your experience with tracing products for drawing your own patterns would be appreciated.

I have used the Swedish Tracing Paper for years & am very happy with it. I don't use a marker, but do write/draw with a ballpoint pen & it works beautifully & doesn't tear easily. Also, it sticks to the fabric well, so I've use less pins. It's available from Folkwear (Birch Street Clothing), but I always bought mine at the sewing expos. It's great stuff. I drafted men's shirt pattern 15 years ago, use it often, & it's still in good shape.
