Pattern for wrap skirt for a beginner

Danielle_in_NYC | Posted in Patterns on

I was under the impression that a wrap skirt would be a good beginning garment to make but I’d like some recommendations on what pattern to use.

Looking through the Burda catalog I found: 3005, 2950, 8951, 3471, 3238. Are you familiar with any of these or can you recommend any others?

I saw that Butterick has a mock wrap skirt (6945) but it looks a little more complicated.

Thanks!

Danielle

The newest issue of Threads has a Miyake inspired wrap skirt that is quite easy to make! I tried it and it turned out well. I'm not familiar with Burda, sorry.

*There is a warped skirt in Sew Beautiful #68 that is a free pattern included in magazine.

*Danielle,How did your wrap skirt go?You can always rely on burda for great fit. I'm not paid to say that, I really believe it!
