MAJOR problem here, at least for me. Trying to make a kimono jacket that fits and looks nice. Problem: Since it the front/sleeve and back/sleeve are cut in one piece, I can’t make the shoulder adjustments that I need to make for my narrow shoulders. If I simply “move” the entire sleeve up so that the shoulder is the right width, because I have a large bust, it doesn’t fit there, alson it is way too long from shoulder to the bust point area. How do I “re-do” this pattern to fit?

draft a new pattern on some clean tissu paper, using a tracing of the original pattern as a starting point. fitting he new pattern to your body, fold, slash and tape together your homemade sleeve as needed to create desired fit. try to leave the seam edge where the sleeve meets th bodice intact. it seems to me though that if you are adjusting for narrow shoulders, you'd ned to work on the bodice pattern piece.
