pinking shear recommendation

I want to purchase a high quality pair of pinking shears for my mother. please recommend a manufacturer, model and dealer.

    I recommend Ginghers. They are made in Germany & you can buy them from JoAnn's or Nancy's Notions catalog or Chotilde--both have web sites. They are not inexpensive but I have had mine for 10 years & have never had to have them sharpened. I also have their 8" bend sheers & the 4 1/2" embrodery scissors which have never been sharpened either.

      *I'd go with a rotary cutter that has a "pinking" blade with it. The pinking then never has to begin and end, the fabric is easier to slice that to cut and I haven't fournd a pinker that I can pink more than a foot or two at a time without my hands getting tired. If they ever come out with a fiscar's pinking version of the ergonomic scissors well, I will be first in line!
