Pressing ???

Pressing ?
How would I remove a seam line from an altered seam in a worsted wool jacket?
I have tried steam and it diminishes, but not completely.
I do alterations and it is for a customer.
Thanks

Have you tried steaming with a white vinegar soaked pressing cloth? That sometimes works.

*Jean:Cut two strips of brown craft paper, or a brown grocery bag, about 2 inches wide and 18 inches long. Place that under your seam allowance and press it with steam very very well. The paper will prevent the seam allowance from showing thru to the opposite side. If it's a very deep crease, blot the seam with a slightly damp natural sponge, and then press with the paper on both sides of your seam allowance. It's an old trick, that I think most people don't remember to do when pressing wool.Good Luck with it. Let us know if it helps.Matt [email protected]
