Hi! I am new here. I am fairly new to sewing also. My family and I are seriously looking into starting a homebased/ web site business. My mil has been a seamstress for years and years. We are developing a line of children’s sleepwear as well as other items. Does anyone here sew professionally? Do you have any words of wisdom?

This month the Chicago Board is featuring the Business of Fashion.
One seminar is on "What is this thing Called a Business Plan?"
and"Taxes, Insurance, Credit:The Business of Fashion".
There are nine seminars in all. I wish that I lived closer to Chicago so that I could take them all, but it is a four hour drive
for me. I can only catch a few of them.
