I previously had a pattern for a soccer moms blanket/throw with a bag to put it in. I can’t find the issue or the pattern, if anyone knows what issue it was in please tell me so I can order one.’ Or if you know where I can get the pattern, let me know .

An easy and very convenient throw/bag combination is to attach a lined pocket (with a carrying handle on it) which is about 1/3 the width and length of the throw to one corner.
Then, you can fold the throw in thirds one way, fold up again by thirds, and invert the pocket (just like folding a pair of socks) to draw the fabric into it and form a packet with a handle.
When you open the throw, the pocket is flat and doesn't get in the way; plus, you never have to keep track of the bag because the pocket/self-bag is attached.
