Whereever you anticipate a seamline, trim away the sequins to save damage to the feed dogs and your needle. If your sequin fabric is such that the sequins are going to all ravel off when you clip them you will have to loosen the sequins along the line where you will actually sew and then make sure you sew right in that trough. After you stitch the seams with a small stitch length trim away any other sequins that are in the seam allowance so that they don't snag your lining or scratch the body.
You won't be able to press the seam allowances open without melting your sequins, so just finger press the seams open especially where they will cross with another seam to keep everything looking smooth. Good luck!
