I made this tote as part of a “Think Pink” exchange over at Treadle On. As always, completely sewn on a treadle sewing machine. The outside fabric is a tone-on-tone black with free-form peacock feather quilting in Sulky variegated pink thread. The lining is a batik. The files are huge, but I left them that way so you can see the quilting in detail.Annie in Wisconsin, USA

I would love to see your pictures, but they are just too big. I just don't have time to wait on the down loads.
I'm sure they are beautiful.
For really big pics, if you open them in a new tab by right clicking on them with your mouse, then select open in new tab, they often open in a smaller pic, less time to download. Cathy
I love the shape of the bag. Is the stitching pattern the one you demo'd in the freemotion embroidery video that was posted not long ago? Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing your work close up. Cathy
Yes--I've been hauling this project around to demos for a couple of months!
Beautiful, Annie! Your quilting is, as usual, exquisite. The variegated thread is perfect.

WOW!! Absolutely fabulous! I love the peacock feather quilting - the variegated thread colour really makes it pop.
Thanks for sharing :D

The tote bag is absolutely fabulous! The perfect thread choice for the feathers--and for your perfect stitches. Thanks for sharing your photos.
Thanks! I love free-motion quilting.
EXQUISITE!
Thanks! I want to make one for myself but haven't had the time.
Hello Damascusannie, Your bag is beautiful. I love the shape and the embroidery/quilting design on it. I am new here and love to make bags and quilts and.... and..... and..... so was looking to find some when I found yours. It was worth the hunt. The photo was too big for my computer so I looked at your link and found it there. Sandra
Thanks Sandra--and welcome to the group. I'm pretty new, too, I joined last spring and I've really enjoyed the gals (and occasional guy) here.
Welcome Sandra! I hope you enjoy our little corner of heaven!
