Raggedy Ann dolls

user-520323 | Posted in General Discussion on

I’ve been making Raggedy Ann dolls for many years, but recently I’ve had problems with embroidering the faces.  The only material available seems to be too tightly woven to embroider nicely.  The tight weave also makes it hard to pull the yarn for the hair through the fabric.

Does anyone have suggestions for the best material to use and where to buy it?  Thanks for any help you can give me.         Suzanne

    Have you tried Kona cotton?

No, but I'll look for it .  Thanks!  Suzanne
