Hi,
Does anyone know a reasonably priced source for “Red Edge Linen” which I need to use to re-cover my “Wolf” dress form.
Greenberg and Hammer has it but it is pricey.
Thanks.

I am not familiar with this. Is it by any chance the same as hair canvas, which also has the red edge? Joanns online has hair canvas and you could use a coupon for 50percent when they run it. solo

No, it is a smoother finer weave and only has linen fibers in it. It has a shiney quality and because of natural shrinkage, when you have covered your dress form, on applying steam it will tighten up/shrink enough to give a nice smooth finish. It seems to be becoming a rarity these days so I may be stuck with the high price, I was just hoping!
Can't answer your question but the Wolf form company might be able to do so. They will refurbish an old form and they might be willing to sell you the material to do it. Email the company at [email protected]
The website is http://www.wolfform.com/
