Removing backing from photo fabric

mmkrzus1 | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

I’ve just printed my pup’s photo on two sheets (portrait, split in half) of Blumenthal Craft’s silk habotai Photo Fabric. Per a fun project in a sewing-for-the-dorm book, I’ll sew the images together and make a pillow for each of my kids. My problem with the photo fabric is this:

How do I peel off the paper backing? I can’t even get hold of it! Thanks!!

    Removing backing from photo fabric

Try scoring the back (near the edge at first) with a needle or pin and see if that will allow you to lift and peel.
