   Threads had an article about making fitted sheets back a few years ago. You might want to look it up. I would just lay the king sized sheet on the bed with one side lined up and mark the other (too big) side; cut and resew. Does this make sense?

   Leave one side as is, remove the extra, resew the corners.

   Hi there and thanks, yes it does make sense. I also need to resize the bottom fitted sheet too.

   and thanks for the info about the Threads article, I thought that I had read something about this somewhere.
