Please if any one can help I would appreciate it,
I am attempting to convert a polar fleece head band pattern into revarsable, i’m having a hard time putting it together and turn it right side out, wich seam should I leave open to turn it? I want the finished item to have no raw edges and have the top and bottom edge to be top stitched giving a piping look, I’m using contrasting colors. Current pattern calls for one thickness hemmed on top and bottom. Thanks in advance.

I'd sew the long edge together and turn it. You might want the long seam be where you plan to topstitch so trim it before turning. Now fold in half, right sides together. You should have all four edges together. Push the upper and bottom edge out of the way and sew the other two edges rightsides together. With some finagalling (sp?), you can get more than half way around the seam. Straighten the head band and tuck the remaining raw edges inside. Hand sew the edges. If the headband is three inches wide or more, it should be fairly easy to do. rjf
Thank you, I'll try that, I would appreciate any other techniques as well. I'd like to make several as gifts. The couple I did, I don't like how they look.
