      *Are you using a teflon foot? The rubberized fabric may not be feeding correctly. Otherwise check your upper thread and bobbin thread tensions.

        *There are two sides to most rubberized drapery linings. One side is softer and feels more like fabric, the other is rubber and will not sew easily. Make sure you are sewing with the fabric feeling side up, preferably with rubber sides together.
