I read in one of the messages which sewing books were
considered to be of great help. I think “Power Sewing” and
“Fabric Savvy”, both written by Sandra Betzina are some
of my favorite books on sewing. I have another book which
concerns serging. This book is good but sometimes a little
hard to follow. I have taken courses given by Sandra and
have found them to be of great help, especially when it comes
to fitting the patterns to one’s own body. She has a special
system for fitting. I found her explanations to be very
clear. She gives all kinds of tips and some shortcuts. I
enjoyed her seminars tremendously and hope to take some
more when they are scheduled.

I agree Sandra books are great. Her seminars and classes are even better.
