Hello everyone. I would like to know where one might purchase PIMA/SUPIMA cotton knit by the yard. The kind I am looking for is used in higher end casual tops such as those advertised in L. L. Bean. It is very frustrating not to be able to purchase easily labeled fabrics. In my area there are very few decent fabric stores and most of them cater to crafters. I would appreciate any help in finding my fabric. Thanks.

Hi Bebop,
Look at fashionfabricsclub.com and type in pima cotton in the search. I think there is about 10. Good luck.

Thanks very much for the advice -- will do. Putting loved work into a garment is much better when you work with great fabrics. Thanks again.
You might also want to try Farmhouse Fabrics online. They carry lots of high end cottons and more. solo
Hi Solo,Now we know your secret to beautiful fabrics. I love how Farmhouse has those matching bias bindings that one could use for piping. I have never bought from them before, but I get their newsletter. I love to look at their gallery, to see what others have made.Marcy
Try Josephene's Dry Goods store in Portland, Ore.. They have a website, and they have beautiful Austrian Cotton Knits. These are the highest quality knits that I have ever seen!
Thanks susanccc. I appreciate your letting me know about the website.
