Try http://www.therainshed.com (The Rainshed in Oregon), which has a large selection of almost all-cotton sweatshirt fabric. They don't have an online catalogue, but this URL will give you their phone number. I've dealt with them quite a bit, and they're a good outfit.
For other sweatshirt sources, try this excellent site: http://www.lyonslpgas.com/sewscape
You can search by fabric type.
*You might also try Linda MacPhee online. She may have the sweatshirt fabric you are looking for. I am looking for brushed denim fabric in various colors. Anyone have any ideas where I could find it?
*Malden Mills microfleece is like silk. Price is excellenthttp://maldenmillsstore.com/Also French Terryhttp://www.fabricclub.com/store/dept.asp?dept%5Fid=332Sherm
*I once got some wonderful denim in unusual colors from Joyce's Fabrics, in NY. I don't have her phone number with me, but I'll come back and give it to you later.
*Shawn, here's the source I mentioned for denim (and lots of unusual fabrics, like thick, camouflage-print 100% cotton pique knit...): Joyce's Fabrics66 Cedar St., PO Box 381Morrisville, NY 13408-0381315-684-3365; [email protected] knits, camouflage fabrics, sweater bodies, chamois cloth, blanket bunting, lingerie stuff, & other hard-to-find fabrics; catalog $2 & LSASE; then $.10 each for samples
