Searching for Lace

taiyoko | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

So, I’m wanting to make a dress replica, since the original doesn’t come in my size. It’s simple but beautiful, in my opinion, and the lace on it is what really makes it. Trouble is, I can’t find this lace anywhere. I was wondering if any of you lovely people would have any ideas on where to find it.

This picture is a close-up on the lace, from the pink version of the dress:

And this is the dress itself, in the blue color that I want to make my replica:

If you can't find a colored lace to match, look for cotton or rayon lace.  You can then dye the lace to coordinate with your fabric.
