Searching for source for trim

heidi0126 | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

Hi,

I’m new here but I need to find a source for the trim for Tom Arma’s Monkey Costume.  It is McCalls pattern 8938.  I need the fringe for around the face.

Thanks so much if anyone knows.

Heidi

It looks like long hair fake fur cut into thin strips and sewn into the trim around the face.

    Hope this helps,

    Heidi,

Searched all the trim houses I know and found nothing like this.  I think Becky's got it right - the long-pile faux fur will be your best bet.  I'm surprised the pattern doesn't mention it.  This is going to be such a cute costume!
